We called Friday, HTC One day, because the latest fastest smartphone for now was released on AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint. AT&T invited to Universal Studios to try out the HTC One, especially the Ultra Pixel camera.
The HTC One has a new style camera that they claim should be better than ever. It was made with a more advanced CMOS Sensor, ISP, and optical lens system that captures significantly more light than most 8 or 13 megapixel cameras. The HTC One also has curved soft finish aluminum case which gives it a very strong solid feel.
Features of the HTC One include 4.7" HD 1080p 468ppi touchscreen, 1.7 GHz quad-core processor and Ultra Pixel Camera, dual-front speakers, dual mics, 2300 mAh battery, 2GB RAM, Wi-Fi, DLNA, micro USB, HDMI(with MHL adapter) and Bluetooth.
What's nice about the Ultra Pixel camera is that image sizes are very small making it easier to upload to Facebook or Twitter and also saves storage space.
Let's look at some of the photos from Universal Studios' escalator outside is clear even though the escalator is moving.
The "Back to the Future" DeLorean photo indoors without a flash looks realistic.
Inside a dark Jurassic Parking garage Garick Chan and Jeb Brilliant smile for the camera.
Inside the low-light Transformer tunnel without a flash, the scene takes on a red glow.
After going deeper into the tunnel the auto Flash came on which took away the red glow form the flashing red light. We will be taking more photos as we work with the HTC One and ready a review. After we receive the Samsung Galaxy S4 we will take photos in the same conditions to see how each camera fairs.
We noticed that some online retailers are sold-out of the HTC One. Discounts are usually harder to find when a new model smartphone is introduced.
If you switch to AT&T you can get cash back.
Sprint recently reminded us, that now through May 9th, Save $100 on any phone when you switch your number to Sprint. (Valid for new lines only. Restrictions apply. )
Wirefly has discounted HTC One by $50 with a new Sprint account or upgrade.
You can buy the HTC One directly from T-Mobile for $99 down and 24 payments of $20 each.
Compare HTC One to Samsung Galaxy S 4 and iPhone 5.
