Samsung Galaxy S II-III-Y-Note Bests RAZR Not iPhone, Yet

Samsung beat out other top Android smartphone with over two-thirds of all Android impressions in Velti's State of Mobile Advertising. This could be the de ja vu of things to come for the Samsung Galaxy S 4.

Velti looked at what smartphones were the receiving the most advertising impressions from Mobiclix Exchange.

Samsung Galaxy 4 AllThe top 10 Android Phones were:

  • Samsung Galaxy S II - named one of the top smartphones of 2011, this super model continues to be highly used.  It is still be sold at great discounts by some carriers.
  • Samsung Galaxy S III - the most popular, most reviewed, most mentioned Samsung of all.
  • Samsung Galaxy S Y - the youth oriented model.
  • Samsung Galaxy Note - the first phablet of the phablet craze.
  • Motorola Droid RAZR -the best of Droid and RAZR.
  • Samsung Galaxy Ace - Galaxy for the budget minded.
  • Samsung Galaxy S Plus aka Skyrocket - one of the first LTE smartphones on AT&T.
  • Samsung Galaxy S - the original Galaxy S of that exploded into the rest of the galaxies.
  • Samsung Galaxy S Mini - only available unlocked but reasonably price.
  • HTC EVO 4G - the leader of the HTC pack that goes way back.

Samsung accounted for 68.2% of Android traffic. Velti expects the "Galaxy" trend   to continue with the Samsung Galaxy S 4.

When Velti includes all devices in the mix, the iPhone 4 bested iPhone 4S while Samsung made two appearances.  iOS devices had a 66% share while Android reached was 35% in March. See full report.
