There was an outage over the weekend on the T-Mobile website and in store computer systems on Saturday. There reportedly will also be a change in the way T-Mobile sells tethering plans.
The outage appeared to be from the great demand for the iPhone 5 and possibly preoders of th HTC One. T-Mobile noted that the outage was only on the website and internal systems. The wireless network was working during the the outage times.
T-Mobile has had increased traffic in its stores since it started selling the iPhone 5. Although customers pay "full price" for the iPhone 5 with 0% payments, the actual monthly expenses are lower as well as costs over time.
In a comparison of the top four carriers the cost of iPhone 5 with the "most similar" plans is cheaper (see chart at bottom).
Meanwhile the T-Mobile Gal has been replaced a mouse. T-Mobile is running two new iPhone 5 commercials. One with glass breaking another showing the other carriers' have mouse traps.

To help ensure T-Mobile customers are properly set up with the right data plan and service capabilities, we’ve now made it easier to set customers up with tethering on unlimited data add-on features. On April 24, unlimited data features will change to eliminate the confusion.
The new unlimited data features will bundle in the limited bucket Smartphone Mobile HotSpot (SMHS) service which allows tethering, removing the need to add tethering separately. All current unlimited data and Smartphone Mobile Hotspot (SMHS) SOCs will be grandfathered and replaced with new bundled unlimited data add-on features with limited bucket tethering included.
