At ShowStoppers, last night at CTIA many new products, apps and devices were revealed. Here's a round-up of what was there.
Device du Data-New Novatel MiFi2
The MiFi 2 is the first toucscreen mobile hotspot for wireless internet connections and sharing. It features 11 hours of LTE connectivity and connects up to 10 Wi-Fi devices. The 2.8" touchscreen lets users manage data usage and share media over DLNA.
Pics to Caller in a Snap
CallSnap is a patent-pending app that lets you respond to a phone call by sending an instant photo. Photo-recepients then know that you are busy, what you’re doing and a hint into when you might call them back based on your activity. Comment from Wireless and Mobile News: You may not want to use CallSnap when you are in the bathtub.
No Mood Indigo with your Own Personal Assistant
Indigo showed the world’s first intelligent personal assistant app to provide information across platforms and devices. It features a sophisticated memory that knows the user and the conversation they were having, even when the user switches between eco-systems. The Siri-like helping app is available on Android, Windows Phone 8 and browsers.
No Dunkin Donuts, Dunkin Smartphones
P21 showed its Dunakble hydrophobic barrier technology which protects smartphones and tablets from accidental prolonged water exposure.
Case for Cases
From Seidio, the OBEX (Latin for “barrier”) protects against water, snow, mud and other liquids. The case passed the IP68 and U.S. Milatary Standards test. Anti-reflection glass causes no interference with the camera lens, and the screen protector sits flush with the screen so it does not leave behind any watermark effects and retains the screen’s clarity.

Otterbox showed its Defender and Commuter cases for the Samsung Galaxy S 4 and HTC One.

You may not have seen it at CTIA but WordLogic announced their new Reach technology which allows you (without leaving your text message) to retrieve contact info, meetings, browser links, do conversions, find locations and much more all from the predictive keyboard.
