Following the lead of the Samsung Galaxy S 4 and HTC One, Sony may announce a Sony Xperia Z with a pure Nexus experience.
According to an unnamed source the Xperia Z Google Edition will be be announced in July.
The Xperia Z Google Edition will feature Android 4.2.2 from day one, or the most up-to-date version of Android. The Xperia Z Google will be should be sold through the Google Play Store.
In the meantime, Sony is pushing out an update to the Sony Xperia Z to Android 4.2.2 in some parts of the world.
The Sony Xperia Z is the combination of a high-end 13MP camera, Sony Bravia TV screen, rugged water-proofing and slick Japanese design. The Xperia Z will be released by T-Mobile, exclusively in the United States.
