iOS 7 was announced earlier this week, and there were some winners and losers of the update for iPhone 4, 4S, 5, iPad 2/later and iPad mini. We looked and the top first looks and reviews to discover the best and worst of the iOS 7.
Winners in iOS7
People with poor eye sight - the icons in iOS 7 are bigger and clearer before. The screen is blue which is more pleasing to look at.
Flip Floppers - although not true multi-tasking, you can switch more easily between apps.
Control Freaks -the new Control Center lets users easily set Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, airplane mode, brightness, volume, flash light and music.
Mysogynists - now woman haters can hear Siri in a male voice.
Photographers - new photography features include filters, Instagram built-in, Air Drop streams and photo album.
Clean Nuts - apps now go all the way to the edge.
Reviewers - reviewers will have more ammo to critique iPhone 5S when it comes out.
Music Fans - the new iTunes radio offers radio stations to match your music style
Grandmas, Aunties, Second Cousins, Great Grandmas - when a new model of the iPhone 5S comes out with iOS7 more elderly relatives will be getting the hand-me down iPhones.
Wi-Fi Hoppers - iOS 7 will support Hotspot 2.0 and be implemented in the future. It also believed that you will be able to select which apps can not use cellular data.
LOSERS iOS 7
iPhone 3GS Owners - sorry no upgrade for you.
Apple Pickers/Robbers - with the iPhone Activation lock it the black market seller will have find a way to jailbreak the Apple ID along with the password.
Original Cutting Edgers - there is not enough new in iOS 7 to get pure new innovators excited.
Color-Blind - there have been complaints that the new design of iOS 7 is too colorful, maybe this could also be a winner if you can't see colors.
Android Haters - Android fans have noticed that the new OS looks more like Android.
iPad Developers/Fans - during WWDC iOS 7 was shown on the iPhone 5 with iOS Beta only available for iPhone. iPad versions will be out in the next few weeks.
Battery Vampires - there are reports that this iOS uses more battery juice.
Jailbreak Progammers' Spouses - jailbreaking on the next iOS will be difficult and the spouses of the programmers will see them less often
Cheapskates - no matter what option, if you want an iPhone you'll have to pay for data service and big price to pay for Apple profits.
Windows Phone Lovers - iOS 7 has been criticized for looking too easy like Windows Phone 8.
