In the never ending patent between Apple and Samsung, the International Trade Comission ruled that Apple infringed upon several Samsung patents for cellular data encoding/decoding patents.
The order prohibits Apple from importing the iPhone 4, 3GS, iPad 3G models.
Commission also issued a cease and desist order against Apple prohibiting the sale and distribution within the United States of articles that infringe claims 75-76 and 82-84 of the ’348 patent. The Commission’s determination is final, and the investigation is terminated.
The exclusion order will be sent to the president who has 60 da6s to review it. If Obama doesn't veto the order it will go into affect.
Last year, there were several patent lawsuit between Apple and Samsung in which Judge Lucy Koh ruled in favor of Apple over icon issues.
