Motorola has not given up on the Droid Line of smartphones. There have been leaks and a peek of a removed landing page.
Evleaks proclaimed that the next Droids will be the Droid RAZR Ultra and Droid RAZR Ultra M.
The Tweet stated "Coming to Verizon, all from Motorola: DROID Ultra in black/white/red, DROID Mini (b/w), DROID MAXX (& Moto X in b/w)"
A leaked ad shows "DROID ULTRA – THINK THIN Available in a bunch of glossy colors, this high-grade DuPont™ Kevlar body proves you can be even thinner and still be tough as steel.”
Therefore it could mean Verizon
may be giving up its black and red color scheme for Droid Phones as well as offering the customizable approach like the Motorola X line of smartphones.
