Next New Nexus 7 on 7-24 with More and not Moto X

Google has sent out invites to the media for an event in San Francisco on July 24, with Sundar Pichai, product manager for Android and Chrome. Leaked planograms from Office Depot reveal a new Nexus 7. There is no word yet about the Nexus 5 smartphone.

Many contend that at the Google event, it will reveal a new version of Android 4.3 and the next new Nexus 7 tablet. Office Depot pricing for the new 32GB Nexus 7 appears to be $269.99 or $229.99.

Android Central showed leaked photos showing a rear camera, quad-core 600 Snapdragon processor, microUSB port for charging, black case, and dual speakers.

newsnexus7Previous leaks suggest that the new Nexus 7 will have a 7" LED 1980x1200 resolution screen, quad-core 600 Snapdragon processor, 2GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, 5MP camera, front camera, Android 4.3, 4000mAh battery, NFC and LTE/WCDMA/GSM support.

The Asus K009 aka the next Nexus 7  should be expected "before the end of July."

 Others report that there may also be a showing of the Moto X smartphone, the first smartphone made by Motorola after it was acquired by Google.

Google has big plans for the Moto X that will offer new voice controls, Active updates, gesture controls and deployment across carriers in the U.S. with an August 24 release date.  It will announce the Moto X on August 1, in New York City.
