Sprint has added 41 more locations and expanded coverage to 151 markets.
Some new markets include Oakland, Calif.; Daytona Beach and Jacksonville, Fla.; Portland, Ore.; Nashville, Tenn.; Philadelphia; Grand Rapids/Saginaw Michigan; Fort Lauderdale/Pompano Beach, Fla; Greenville, N.C.; and Salinas, Calif.
"Sprint is committed to delivering the latest technology and providing more energy efficient cell sites,” said Bob Azzi, senior vice president-Network, Sprint.
Sprint's all-new 3G and 4G LTE network is projected to provide LTE service to 200 million people by the end of 2013.
Sprint recently lost 2 million subscribers, which it claims was caused by shutting down the iDEn network on June 30.
