There have been several rumors and leaks detailing what Samsung will release next in its Galaxy Series including around the next Samsung Galaxy Note, the Samsung Galaxy Note III. Samsung promoting water – resistant smartphones may not be warranted. But if you are rugged individual you may want to enter the Samsung SOS contest to win your own fantasy island.

Samsung sent out invitations to a special media event "Unpacked" on September 4, in Berlin, during IFA. Last year Samsung announced the Samsung Galaxy Note II at a similar event. Samsung is also expected to premiere other new Samsung devices.
The current rumors surrounding the Samsung Galaxy Note III suggest a 5.7 inch touchscreen, 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 processor or Samsung Octa-Core chipset, 3GB of RAM and Android Jelly Bean.
With this Note III incarnation, apparently, Samsung increased the speed of the Samsung Galaxy Note III as seen in an AnTuTu Benchmark test for the SM-N9005 with a score of 22,361 beating out the 21,089 held by the Samsung Galaxy S4.
It's Time for Another Flippin' Galaxy.
In a flip around, Samsung will reportedly return to a flip phone form factor with the Galaxy Folder. It's a double-screened Android Galaxy smartphone with a hinge in the middle. There is an inside and outside screen as well as a (RAZR-like) keyboard. The folder is expected in Korea.
Leaky Samsung Galaxy S 4 Active Not Under Water Under Guarantee.
Although the Samsung Galaxy S IV Active has special keys for photographs underwater and is shown to withstand an average drop into the toilet, some water submerged Galaxy S 4 Active owners are stuck out in the rain after their smartphones were in water. With an IP67 rating that should allow for submersion into water for up to 30 minutes, Samsung will not honor its warranty if the Active is damage from under water use. Some users have noted problems with their Samsung Galaxy 4 Active smartphones were exposed to water. The S4 Active is “water-resistant,” not waterproof.
The warranty states “This Limited Warranty does not cover: (a) defects or damage resulting from accident, misuse, abnormal use, abnormal conditions, improper storage, exposure to liquid, moisture, dampness, sand or dirt…”
Watch Out for Samsung Galaxy Gearing up for a Smartwatch.
Samsung has filed a trademark for the name the Galaxy Gear an“wearable electronic devices in the form of a wristwatch, wrist band or ban.” This lead many to believe it is time to watch out at the September reveal for a new Galaxy smartwatch.
