Nokia is pushed out an update to Lumia Windows Phones with improvements and new features. The Lumia Amber update begins rolling out in August. Users will get a notification on on their Lumias when it is available for Nokia Lumia 920, 820, 720, 620, 520, 928, 822, 521 and 810.
The FM radio lets you listen to radio stations in stereo (not avaible on Lumia 620).
You don't have to flip out when a call comes in at an unexpected time. Flip the Nokia Lumia over to face down. to silence.
The camera app offers better photos in low light. It has improved auto focus, and an enhanced noise filter.
You can take a sequence of photos with Nokia Smart Camera, and then choose which story you want to tell. Choose your best shot, capture a sequence of motion, put the motion in focus, remove unwanted moving objects or select the best expressions to make great group shots.
With Glance Screen, your Lumia doubles as a clock with day and night modes and shows battery status. (not available for Lumia 520).
There are improvements Xbox music and Internet Explorer. Storage check lets you free up space and save things to SkyDrive.
The rollout starts now first for the Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 in selected countries as well as the Lumia 521, Lumia 810, and Lumia 928 in the US. Exact delivery timings will vary by region, phone and operator. Nokia expects the update to reach your Lumia 520, Lumia 620, Lumia 720, Lumia 820 or Lumia 920 by the end of September.
