Motorola has some colorful new accessories up its sleeve, an NFC enabled fob or attachable dots that unlock your Moto X with a single tap called the Skip. There are also some Moto X promotions in the works.
Motorola claims of the average smartphone user unlocks his/her phone 39 times a day, while a power user may do it 100 times with each unlock taking 2.3 seconds. The Motorola sketch which currently will only come in gray with black but scheduled for more colors, unlocks the Moto X with a top. You can clip it to your shirt, belt loop, purse or baseball cap.
The Skip comes with Skip dot stickers that you can attach to your desks, wall or refrigerator.
The Skip will be free with custom Moto X orders along with some Skip dot stickers. It should sell for $19.99 after the promotion.
If you want to see what the colorful Moto X options are you can go to a AT&T store to see samples on August 23. Moto X online customization also begins on August 23 for AT&T customers only.
Starting August 19, AT&T will offer a few lucky customers who registered att.com an opportunity to design and receive their Moto X before the general public.
