KitKat 4.4 Android Magic Sweet Break for Nexus 5?

Android Kit Kat has made an appearance in a commercial, leading many to hope that the Nexus 5 with KitKit 4.4 will be out soon. KitKat should have some new features.

KitKat is a small update of Android Jelly Bean with performance and bug fixes.  Google has not divulged the exact features of the update, except to KitKat promotions.

Leaks suggest a revised interface across the dialer and basic apps as well as a cleaner look to the menus.

Android 4.4 may take on some features of the Moto X such as always on listening.  It may also have a "Tap & Play" to pay for purchases.

There may be updates to camera app with tilt shift, center focus and image editing before saving. The new messaging app may be incorporated into Google Hangouts. Google noted that "It’s our goal with Android KitKat to make an amazing Android experience for everybody.”

There are also rumors that the new Android OS may work on lower-end smartphones with memory as low as 512MB of RAM.

It was previously reported that Android KitKat would be out on October 15, which is clear now that it did not happen.

Almost all of the core Google apps have been updated during the last few day, which some believe is an indication that Android 4.4. KitKat will be out any day now.
