The Nexus 5 is coming. A leaked document reportedly revealed the details of the next Nexus 5 that was taken down. Now photos and even videos of the Nexus 5 are leaking.
The first glimpse of the Nexus 5 was during the KitKat statue reveal at Google headquarters. Since then there have been many glimpses. Today while searching Wireless and Mobile News via the Google Search bar for the term "Nexus 4" and ad came up to the Nexus 5 at Amazon where scree protectors for the Nexus 5 were already on sale.
Many suspect that Google will announce the Nexus 5 on October 15. Since that date is coming closer, it could be why we are seeing so many leaks. Previously the Nexus 4 shared many parts and features with the LG Optimus G. The Nexus 5 could share many things with the LG G2. Some leaks suggest that it may have fingerprint scanner.
In order to promote KitKat bars for Halloween, an announcement this week would make for more Trick-or-Treaters with KitKats in their pumpkins. Fortunately for Google, it seems that the Nexus 5 passed through the FCC, otherwise it couldn't be released.
From a manual that was later taken down, these details were noted for the specs of the Nexus 5.
- 4.95" 1080p display (IPS TFT for those interested).
- 32GB internal storage, more or less.
- 2GB RAM.
- MSM8974 aka Snapdragon 800 at 2.3GHz.

The big deal breaker on this Nexus 5 will be the price. When the Nexus 4 was released it was the only unlocked smartphone for less than $300. When it was reduced, recently, it sold-out.
Although Nexus devices typically have good prices, customer service can be lacking.
