Samsung Galaxy S4: GS 4 News, Sales, Jelly Bean Update, Galaxy Glass,

The Samsung Galaxy S4 is probably the closest competitor to the iPhone 5/5S/c going.  It's got a lot of good qualities and sold in great quantities as well as new sizes.  There will be updates soon, new models and a possible Samsung Galaxy Glass.

Samsung Galaxy S4 mini

There is going to be smaller version of the Samsung Galaxy S4, out soon, the Samsung Galaxy S4 mini with a 4.3" screen that is still larger than the 4" inch screen iPhone 5 series. The S4 mini will be coming to AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon for an expected price around $100. The S4 mini will work with the smartwatch the Samsung Galaxy Gear.

GS 4 Jelly Bean Update to Gear

Samsung UK told CNET that Android 4.3 update will be available for a wide range of Samsung Galaxy models in mid-November depending on carrier approval. The update for the Galaxy S4 mini, S4 Active, Mega 5.8, Mega 6.3 and Galaxy S4 Zoom will enable the devices to work with the Galaxy Gear by the end of the month.

Galaxy S4 Sales Surge

Samsung mobile reported that over 40 million Samsung Galaxy S4 units have been sold since the it was released in April this year. There are rumors that the Samsung Galaxy S5 may be announced in January. Sales of the Galaxy S 4 have been slowing

Samsung Galaxy Problems in China Fixed?

There have been problems with Samsung Galaxy S series smartphones in China in which they seize up. Samsung will replace any broken smartphones for free or refund customers have tried to have their phones repaired at Samsung service centers. Samsung apologized on its Chinese website.

Samsung Galaxy Glasses?

BNsamsungglasesSamsung filed a patent for a new device that looks more like eyeglasses than Google Glass, titled the Galaxy Glass. It appears to function like the Galaxy Gear because the description states when linked to a smartphone it displays alerts on a translucent or transparent lens. This design is of a type "[of glasses] with earphones integrated, allowing [users] to take phone calls and listen to music during workouts."
