A few years ago, AT&T wanted to buy T-Mobile. They are both GSM carriers and their networks and some phones are compatible. Well the AT&T deal was squashed and T-Mobile has been reducing prices when your bring your own phone. Big Magenta is expected to get in the pink at CES by announcing some kind of deal for those who leave AT&T. Today AT&T offered some credits and trade-ins to lure away T-Mobile customers.AT&T announced that it will pay T-Mobile customers as much as $450 to come over to their side of the spectrum. AT&T is offering a $200 credit to switch to certain plans and up to $250 for a smartphone trade-in. AT&T did not state what phones are worth $250, but we suspect only the most expensive recent smartphone models. One way to think of the $200 credit is approximate a savings of $8.33 a month for two years. Say if you get $400 via credit and trade-in that's a savings of $16.66 no matter how you calculate it. AT&T is still more expensive than T-Mobile.
The state of smartphone plans has been shaken up since T-Mobiles plans included international data roaming and other perks. If you ever roam away from home, you definitely want to check out T-Mobile.
The customers have to change their wireless service and number to AT&T and set up AT&T Mobile Share Value plans. They can bring their own phone or buy a new one for the AT&T deal

If you are chosing your carrier by price only, AT&T is not your best choice. However AT&T has great service all over the country and service includes free access to AT&T Wi-Fi hotspots.
T-Mobile is the cheapest top tier carrier for an iPhone. You can get the iPhone 4 8GB in Black or and White for $199.99 from Virgin Mobile with Auto Pay service for as low as $30 a month with prepay.
The offer of AT&T may be attractive but still it has few catches.... AT&T customers will go over toT Mobile, then switch back for the credit within there 14 days. People are smart, and att can't verify account ownership time. They will basically just lose a ton of cash on tmobile... Again...T-Mobile will also announce a big relief at CES-2014.... The main attraction of T-Mobile is its cheaper unlimited plans which AT&T don't . we should wait till next week before Jump....www.telecomvibe.com
