The JDSU's Location Intelligence Business Unit found that iPhone 5s usage is more massive than ever before with Apple(iPhone/iPad) device users at the top of the chart for data usage for Samsung Galaxy S4 with all their methods of sharing videos were the heavy uploaders at five times the rate of iPhone 3G users.
The study noted iPhone 5s users demand seven times as much data as theiPhone 3G users in developed markets and 20 times as much data in developing markets (50 percent increase on iPhone 5). Apple products account for six of the top ten 'hungriest handsets', along with two Samsung products, one HTC and one Sony.
When it came to uploading data, Samsung users are at the top of the chart. Galaxy S4 users produced and uploaded five times as much data as iPhone 3G users in developed markets and 11 times as much data in developing markets.
The data hogs are really data hogs in fact 0.1 percent of 4G users consume more than half of the entire LTE downlink data. As such, 4G users are 10 times more data hungry than 3G users, of whom 1 percent still consume half of the 3G downlink data.
Users of the fourth generation iPad are the most data-hungry amongst tablets, eating almost 40% more data than 2012's hungriest device, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1. The 4th Generation iPad ranked second for all devices uploading and also downloading in developed countries.
The iPad mini, consumes 20 percent less data than second- and third-generation iPads.

Do you think you could live with an iPhone if it didn't have a data plan or even Wi-Fi?
I knew that iPhone 5S will win the race for sure. GS4 lies no where when it comes to quality. Most of the Android manufacturers are only going for specs not the quality.
