Samsung will be offering two new Windows 8 tablets the Samsung ATIV Tab 3 and Samsung ATIV Q.
The Samsung ATIV Tab 3 is called the world's thinnest Windows tablet at 8.2mm and the ATIV Q is Windows and the ability to run Android apps.ATIV Tab 3
The ATIV Tab 3is the world’s thinnest Windows 8 tablet with a design like GALAXY series with S Pen compatibility with MS Office. The ATIV Tab runs Windows 8, a Z2760 Atom processor, 2GB RAM has a 10.1" screen and weighs 550g. The release date is expected to be in August, priced at $699 with a keyboard. SlideSync lets you control your smartphone or PC screen and mouse.
The ATIV Tab 3 also features up to 10 hours of battery life, eliminating the need to carry a charger for most long-distance flights.
Samsung ATIV Q
The Samsung ATIV Q features a QHD+ (3200×1800) 13.3"touchscreen with 2.8 times higher pixel density (275ppi) than full HD displays. ATIV Q is also designed for optimized viewing in high brightness in outdoor environments. The ATIV Q allows users to use both Windows 8 and Android (Jellybean 4.2.2) on the same device. Users will not only get access to Android apps via Google Play but will also be able to transfer files to share folders and files from Windows 8 to Android. When connected to a smartphone there is SlideSync.
ATIV Q Features offers Four Modes:
- Flat over the keyboard for tablet mode.
- Upright to type just like a laptop.
- Float for a viewing angle.
- Or flip the display to place in the stand mode to watch movies with ease.
