AT&T Samsung Galaxy S4 (GS 4) Update Android 4.3 Stopped?

The AT&T version of the Samsung Galaxy S4 was reportedly getting an update to Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.

The 719MB update enables the GS 4 to work with the Galaxy Gear smartphone. You can check for the update for an update (from About in the Settings menu).

Update: 11/15/ 1:31PM: There have been reports that the update starts and then stops in the middle of the process.

I contacted PR reps from AT&T. As far as we know, there has been no official word from AT&T about the Samsung Galaxy S4 update. Usually they receive notification of updates in advance.

Nexus 7 (2012/13) 10 Android Updates OTA

The Nexus 7 (2012 and 2013) and Nexus 10 Wi-Fi models are being updated to Android 4.4, KitKat.

KitKat has vocal commands that are always-on to activate, you say "Ok Google."

Be sure to back up your data before updating your Nexus 7 or 10. Be sure that it is at least 50% charged.

To check, go to Settings > System > About phone > System updates. Follow prompts to download and install the update.

BlackBerry Messenger Update for iPod/iPads & Android

BlackBerry has updated BlackBerry Messenger to support iOS 6 iPads and iPods. The Android app has also been updated with new features.

BlackBerry has posted videos showing some tips and tricks for using BlackBerry Messenger on other devices. (videos follow) BBM currently has over 2o million users on iPhone and Android apps and 60 million BlackBerry users.

Android KitKat 4.4 Features, OKed by Google with Printing

Google has announced Android KitKat 4.4 with new some new features. Talking to your KitKat Android with the phrase OK Google will allow you to tell it what to do while many new features are visual with Chromecast integration.

MS Office users will like that "QuickOffice" features make it easier to save to cloud and print. Chromecast gives a prettier picture to the home screen and the ability to watch streaming video on a connected HDTV and the camera can combine photos.
