Some nice boys and girls will not be happy when they look for the  Asus Transformer Prime  tablets under their Christmas trees. Some preorders have been canceled and online retailers are out-of-stock, which makes everyone want them even more.

Although Asus confirmed, yesterday, via Twitter, ": Pre-orders for the #TransformerPrime starting to be fulfilled this week. Inventory set to reach normal levels in January."  It has been reported in the U.K. delivery of the 64GB model has been delayed until January.  There are also delays in Canada.  Amazon.com is offering a $10 gift card and expected ship dates as late as December 22. Amazon.com also cancelled some preorders.

Asus Tansformer Prime Zenbook Compared, Win Asus Prime Suspect Prizes in New Year Celebration

transformer prime 2We've heard little about the Asus Transformer Prime since the preorders sold-out.  However, Asus still wants you to have happy holidays and is giving away some of its top products in a sweepstakes through the new year. The next prize will be awarded Sunday.

The Asus Facebook page also shows new photos of the Asus Transformer Prime next to the Zenbook UX21. They look a lot a like. In fact, the Transformer Prime looks like the a baby Zenbook.
