Buy Nexus Tablet Soon?When Google released the first Nexus in January 2010, the Nexus One it was plauged  with connection problems and even though it was promised to come from all carriers, the Nexus One came and went from T-Mobile and AT&T.  The Nexus One never touched Verizon Wireless and Google closed it webstore in July 2010. Now Google appears want to call all the shots again this time for not only smartphone but tablets too.

In April, Google started selling unlocked HSPA+ Samsung Galaxy Nexus phones directly via its webstore.  The Wall Street Journal reported that Google plans to leverage early access to Android OS with device makers in order to sell the smartphones and tablets directly to buyers.

Asus Padfone Stylus Ear/mouth Asus announced that the PadFone along with the PadFone Station will be ready to ship in April this year. The whole outfit is three devices in one the phone docks to a tablet which turns the phone into the tablet. The tablet docks to a keyboard which turns the whole  caboodle into a netbook.  A demonstration video follows.

A new accessory is a Bluetooth pen/stylus that can also be used as headset earphone and mouth piece. Now that is a lot of transformer action.

Alone, the PadFone is an Android  4.0Ice Cream Sandwich smartphone with a 4.3” screen, but when connected to the PadFone Station, it transforms into a 10.1” Android ICS tablet with up to 63 hours of talk time.

Transformerpad 300Asus has started promoting the new Tansformer Pad 300 on Twitter, YouTube and at Design Week in Milan.  The new budget priced tablet that transforms into a netbook is expected to go on sale soon.

Asus Tweeted "The Asus Transformer Pad TF300 hits stores soon. Will you be one of the first to pick one up?"

While the YouTube video description states: "Part entertainment hub, part deadline destroyer, the New ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T is designed to transform the way you work, play and live. Embrace your creative and productive sides. Coming soon."  The new video follows.
