Asus Transformer Prime Primed for Update & Another Update to Fix Update

The Asus Transformer Prime is getting an update today with camera, GPS and glitch fixes.  Although it is not an update to the coveted Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, Asus is being lauded for it prompt attention to updates. However, there have been issues reported with the update that Asus support is aware of and in the process of fixing.

Meanwhile, some tech bloggers are berating Asus for locking the bootloader on the coolest tablet of 2011.

Asus Transformer Prime News: Primed to Ship Without Lawsuit Worry

Workers at Asus seem to be having happy holidays and not concerned about the pending trademark infringement lawsuit from Hasbro. Some preorders of the Asus Transformer Prime models are being shipped.

The Asus design staff is shown in a YouTube video making a Christmas Tree out of gift boxes. They do not appear too worried about the trademark lawsuit.

Asus spokesman Chang Wie-ming said Saturday, that production of the Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime will continue as usual and not be affected by the pending lawsuit from Hasbro.
