Adios Aio: Hello Cricket Wireless: A New Leap for Cheap Prepaid from AT&T?

newCricketLast week, AT&T's acquisition of  Leap's Cricket of Wireless, left millions of customers to question what is going to happen to them.  The FCC required AT&T to follow their guidelines and there is  process in place to insure Cricket prepaid wireless service customers will have continued service and keep their phone numbers.

At the Aio website Cricket customers are assured that they can keep their phone numbers and will not have to make changes to payments. However, Cricket customers can't go into Aio stores for service, yet, until notified.

New Deal AT&T Cheaper Value Share Plans $100 Credit: Best Deal Yet?

mobielvalueshareplanAT&T has reduced the base price of the  Mobile Share Value plans for what it calls its "best-ever pricing."

Many contend that the price cut was prompted by the exodus of AT&T customers to T-Mobile after it unleashed its uncarrier plans, last year. New T-Mobile customers, however, will benefit from increased data for capped data plans but will have to pay $10 more for unlimited data plans.
