Verizon ElevenHo, ho, ho.. it's holiday promotion time and Verizon Wireless doesn't want to lose any 4G LTE customers to AT&T.   Starting tomorrow (11/8) in time for  11/11/11 at 11:11 AM Droid RAZR launch, 4G LTE customers will get double the amount of data for the same price.  This will surely be welcome on the new super dual-core smartphones coming from Verizon Wireless such as the  Droid RAZR, HTC Rezound and Samsung Galaxy Nexus.

With the name Droid coming from the Star Wars movies, this could be called "Data Wars Part 4G LTE."

DroidLanding RAZRAlthough there has been no word from Verizon news releases as to the exact release date for the Droid RAZR, last night a commercial began airing that shows 11/11/11.  We can expect a spectacular marketing campaign and some freebies from DroidLanding on Twitter as well as the DrioidDoes website.

Droid RAZR Sold-Out (Not): Back-in-Stock for Now

There were reports that the Droid RAZR  was temporarily out of stock on its very first day of  presale at Verizon Wireless online.  We we checked with two  ZIP codes and had no trouble ordering a Droid RAZR.  At one point, the Verizon Website was a little slow but came back quickly.

  On the Verizon website it shows it will ship by November 10 which has been promised since the original announcement.

We have received an eamil from Verizon spokesman Albert Aydin which says, " There was a temporary error on our website and was resolved earlier today. "

Droid RAZR Preorders 10/27 - 11/10 Release Date? - Free NFL Mobile

Droid RAZRThe late night super smartphone jump on presales will not be available for the new Droid RAZR. Instead presales will start at 8:00am EST tomorrow at Verizon Wireless online.

It will cost $299 with a contract.   It is good news because we don't have release dates for other new smartphone expected from Verizon Wireless such as the Samsung Galaxy Nexus (Prime) or HTC Rezound (Vigor).

Verizon has promised that Droid RAZR smartphones will ship no later than Thursday, November 10.  There is no official word, yet on if customers will be able to buy Droid RAZR smartphones in Verizon stores on that day, which may also be the release date for the Samsung Galaxy Nexus or HTC Rezound.

Previous major Droid releases sold-out within a few days of release dates. To promote 4G LTE superfast data access NFL Mobile is included at no additional charge for 4G LTE customers for the remainder of the 2011 season
