Although, HTC’s latest HTC One products are delayed at customs, HTC is currently pushing out updates to android 4.03 ICS for the HTC Sensation 4G and the HTC Amaze, today May 16.

The updates do not contain updates to HTC Sense 4.0 but do contain the core of Android 4.03 Ice Cream Sandwich and HTC Sense 3.6 for the HTC Sensation 4G and HTC Amaze.

HTC EVO LTE 4G Release Date Delayed HTC One X Sold-Out -Held @ Customs

Whoops, Sprint earlier this week, announced that Sprint stores would be open at 8 AM this Friday to sell the HTC EVO 4G LTE. Today, Sprint reported that the launch has bee delay due to start shipments to the U.S.

The HTC One X and HTC EVO 4G LTE have been stopped at customs where they’re being checked for compliance with the ITC exclusion order.

Sprint is no longing taking preorders for the HTC Evo 4G LTE on its websites and no longer promoting a May 18 release date.

If you ordered an HTC EVO LTE 4G from Sprint and to cancel, either refuse delivery or call Sprint for return authorization kit once the HTC EVO LTE 4G arrives.

The HTC One X is no longer available from Amazon.com where it was reduced to $149.99 for new an renewing contracts. You could still order for $149.99 if you use AT&T Coupon-Link $50 Off AT&T Wireless with Plan for new customers with a contract. The HTC One X is out-of-stock at AT&T

Here we go with iPhone 5 conjecturatti, again. Apple has cuts its production of current iPhones by 20 to 25% compared to last quarter, leading some to speculate it is to prep for the next iPhone model. All that we can know for sure about the iPhone 5 is that it will sell like iPhones.

Analyst, Shaw Wu calculated the drop by contacting suppliers directly. Analysts contend that the reason the production is slowing, is to make sure that there is not a glut of iPhones on the market when the next sixth generation iPhone 5 or what-ever-they-call-it thatwill be launched in the fall

American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) now rates the cell phone companies and carriers and people are less satisfied with every service and product except for the iconic iPhone.

Customer satisfaction with the cell phone industy slipped 1.3% to 74, while wireless service dropped 1.4% to 70.

Starting Tuesday, May 15 at 6 AM EDT, Voyager Mobile will launch nationwide 3G and 4G wireless network service.

Voyager Mobile will offer unlimited wireless plans starting at $19 per month without contracts or credit check. Voyager Mobile will most Android and Windows smartphones with a price of $39 for all-unlimited voice, text and WiMAX data.

Smartphones expected to be sold are the LG Optimus S, Motorola XPRT, Samsung Conquer 4G and Samsung Epic 4G Touch. Pricing for the phones has not be announced, yet

The Best Buy Board publicly released the results of an independent investigation into personal conduct allegations involving former CEO Brian Dunn who had a “no-benefits” relationship with the employee.

The separation agreement is contained a previously earned bonus for FY 2012, vesting of previously awarded restricted stock, a severance payment and an unused vacation payment

The superphone, the Samsung Galaxy S III is gaining momentum. Although Samsung did not have a booth at CTIA, many journalists were able to test the Samsung Galaxy S III out and review it. So far the reviews have been fairly favorable and now we get to see the official commercial and accessories.

The commerical is the same video shown at the gala release event in London. The commercial shows all kinds of loving situations – a couple at an airport, a wedding, kids paying and a dad with his daughter. Samsung Galaxy Note ICS Update Date Good & Bad News

We’ve got good news and bad news for Samsung Galaxy Note owners in the United States. Here’s an update on the update.

First the good news. Some European Samsung Galaxy Note owners are getting the update to Android 4.0 ICS that is 318MB and includes the S Note app and S Memo widget. We have verified that Samsung Galaxy Note owners in Germany have been able to download the update using the Kies app (see comment below) with some problems. Some media outlets have tried to contact Samsung to find out the exact date of the release.

In the past, when there were drips of updates in parts of Europe a larger push out of the update followed, fairly soon afterwards

While we’re waiting for the figures from CTIA Wireless where they recapped and vamp their attendees and achievements we have rounded-up all the announcements and new devices demoed at the show. We find it very interesting that a survey taken at the event showed that many antendees were not not paying carriers for Wi-Fi hotspots/tethering but use “illegal” third party apps, instead.
