For those of you who were planning to wait in line wearing an wristband on Thursday after Thanksgiving dinner, Best Buy was matching the iPad mini deal starting today.We received a notice at 2:00 am PST and well, we missed the deal entirely, today. We're hoping it will come back on Thursday and may have figured out the time all the Best Buy deals start.

Update 11/23/2014 - the incredible Samsung Galaxy S5 for $1 deal is now live at Best Buy for Black Friday 2014. iPad Air 2 deals are coming and we suspect that will sell out quickly.

Leading the charge of new tablets, the iPad Air has been selling like hot cakes. Yeah it's a really hot, so hot in fact it exploded at a Vodaphone store in Australia, earlier this week.

Sparks have been flying over the new super thin tablet, in fact instead of sparking debate, the iPad Air charger sparked a fire.

Apple announced the iPad mini (2) with Retina Display starting at $399 for the 16GB models come in silver or space gray. It has the same A7 processor as the iPad Air with price points $100 less than the iPad Air across the board. It will out later in November. The price of the iPad mini has been reduced to $299.99 for the 16GB model and $429.99 for the 16GB Wi-Fi & Cellular model.

When you order online you can get it shipped and engraved for free.

The 7.9" screen has a 2048-by-1536 resolution at 326 pixels per inch (ppi).

New iPad Air (5) with A7 vs iPad 2

Apple announced the iPad Air previously called the iPad 5 with a thinner and lighter design. It's 7.5 mm to total 24% reductions in overall volume over the iPad 4.

The price of the iPad 2 has been reduced to $399 for the 16GB Wi-Fi model and $529 for the 16GB Wi-Fi + 3G model for either AT&T or Verizon. To see the difference see the table below.
