iPhone 3G 3Gs & 4 Broken Warranty Lawsuits Filed & One Won

Not everyone is completely satisfied with their iPhones, including the iPhone 3G, 3G and 4. Original iPhone, iPhone 3G/3GS  and iPod Touch owners have won a class action lawsuit while there was a new claim that the iPhone 4 button breaks after a year.

A lawsuit filed in 2010 claimed that Apple unfairly denied warranty coverage for the original iPhone through iPhone 3GS and first three generations of iPod Touch. Those who were unable to get warranty coverage will receive payments of around $200.  Apple denied warranty claims, while customers claimed that their iPhones or iPods were not exposed to water even though indicators showed water damage.

Although the iPhone iOS changes have not all be groundbreaking, one features may be theft and black-market resale-breaking. This feature so far has not been matched by Android devices such as the Samsung Galaxy line or HTC One. Law enforcement is encouraging smartphone makers to develop a permanent to solution to smartphone-poaching.

One in three robberies nationwide involve the theft of a mobile phone according to the FCC.  175 million cell phones have been sold in the U.S. in the past year. Apple products are so often stolen, police call it Apple picking. There are instances of people being killed during iPhone thefts or greatly harmed for an iPad.

It looks like Apple took its cue from the features that the Samsung Galaxy S III, Note II and 4, with its refresh of iOS 7. Let's compare what features are very much alike in iOS 7 coming to iPhone 4, 4S or 5 that are currently available on many of the Samsung Galaxy S series of smartphones and phablets. Apple at the World Wide Developer Conference  is showing its new streaming music service and a new version of the operating system on iPhone, iPad and iPad, iOS 7.

iOS 7 was designed by Jony Ive. The new interface goes to the edge of the screen with a translucent area that shows more content underneath with new type and icons.  iOS 7 supports multitasking for all apps.
