iOS 6.1.1One of the fastest adopted updates for iPhone, iOS 6.1, has been updated again. Apple issued a new update, today, that fixes bugs reported on the iPhone 4S.  The update 6.1.1 is for iPhone 4S only.

iPhone 4S owners have reported that the new update drains battery life significantly.  Vodaphone asked its iPhone 4S users not to install the update at all.  In fact Vodaphone noted that iPhone 4S users may not be able to receive calls or SMS after the the 4.1 update. Other  iOS 6.1 reported  issues between the iOS Mail app and Microsoft Exchange.

If you were one of the very lucky people to get the HTC ThunderBolt when it was the first LTE smartphone from Verizon Wireless, you can start rejoicing and do a dance like Snoopy over the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update that has started rolling out today.

The update was announced last week and in typical Verizon Wireless fashion it is slowly starting to be pushed to HTC ThunderBolt owners.
