Motorola Anti Ban Plans for Droid 2, Pro, X, X2, Flipout, Atrix & Xoom - No Xoom Ban in Germany

The United States International Trade Commission(ITC), ban on Motorola devices goes into effect on Wednesday brought on Microsoft. In Germany, a German court denied a ban of the Motorola Xoom by Apple.

AP reported the Düsseldorf court dismissed Apple's request for a ban on the Motorola Xoom in Germany.

Meanwhile , the smartphones and tablets involved in the ITC ban are Atrix, Backflip, Bravo, Charm, Cliq, Cliq 2, Cliq XT, Defy, Devour, Droid 2, Droid 2 Global, Droid Pro, Droid X, Droid X2, Flipout, Flipside, Spice, and the Xoom tablet.

When the first Motorola Atrix was released it was a premium product with specialty docks that turned it into a netbook and media center. The latest Motorola Atrix HD goes on sale today at AT&T it has HD features but is not compatible with the Atrix lapdock or Webtop apps with an HD dock coming in the future.

Motorola reported that it removed the Webtop feature from the Atrix HD in an effort to keep the price down. Many will never use the dock therefore the price reduction may be a good deal for some.

The 4.5" Motorola Atrix HD is more like a Droid RAZR than anything else with nano-coating for splash guard and Kevlar for strength. The Smartactions app learns what you do and suggest setting throughout the day.

AT&T announced that the Motorola Atrix HD will go on sale this Sunday, July 15 for $99.99 with a contract. If you are new customer you can use the $50 Off Coupon Link AT&T Wireless for new customers with a plan.

It's a lot like the Droid RAZR, with a Kevlar strength, splash guard nano-coating on the outside and internal circuit board. The Smartactions app learns what you do and suggest setting throughout the day.

Smartactions are autocratic. Only you can choose whether or not to accept the suggestions, which are based on the time, place and situation. If you’re busy, Smartactions will offer up the Meeting Rule. Accept this, and your Motorola Atrix HD silences its ringer and activates the auto-text reply, but also selectively let’s pre-designated VIP callers through.

Motorola Atrix HD( 3 Dinara): Round Droid RAZR, ICS, Dual-Core, Release Date Soon?

Some are calling it a round version of the Droid RAZR, whatever you call it, Motorola finally revealed the Motorola Atrix HD on its website and then pulled it from view. This is the device formerly known as Dinara.

Features include 4.5" 1280 x 72op touchscreen, 8MP , 8GB internal storage, 1780mAh battery, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, front-facing camera and 1780mAh battery. Like the Droid RAZR, it showed Kevlar textured back case. The Motorola Atrix HD will run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. It looks like it will come in white like the Droid RAZR and reportedly Titanium (silver).

Moto Droid RAZR/MAXX, Xoom, Atrix, Bionic ICS Update Release Dates Updated

Motorola has updated its Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update resource page expected time frame and what will not be updated.

Some devices that were previously under consideration such as the Droid X2 will not be updated to ICS.

All the previously announced products from Verizon Wireless remain on the list with some showing a Q2 release which means we will hopefully see those updates before the end of June.
