Nokia announced two new larger format Windows phone the Nokia Lumia 1520. The Enhanced Windows Phone Start screen and three columns for Live tiles.

Nokia's Lumia smartphone sales have been gaining, as we reported with the latest Amplified Analytics report. Nokia has been promoting its smartphones for great cameras that work in low light conditions.
The numbers show that sales reached 7.2 million, which is slightly more than BlackBerry sales. BlackBerry sales for Q2 totaled 6.8 million units. Analysts contend that the increase in sales was helped by the Nokia Lumia 520. These numbers clearly put Windows Phone in third place after iPhone and Android.
