Nokia Lumia Gains on BlackBerry, Due 2 Nokia Lumia 521,925 928 Cameras

Nokia's Lumia smartphone sales have been gaining, as we reported with the latest Amplified Analytics report.  Nokia has been promoting its smartphones for great cameras that work in low light conditions.

The numbers show that sales reached 7.2 million, which is slightly more than BlackBerry sales. BlackBerry sales for Q2 totaled 6.8 million units.  Analysts contend that the increase in sales was helped by the Nokia Lumia 520. These numbers clearly put Windows Phone in third place after iPhone and Android.

Nokia Lumia 1020 Cameratastic with Balls (Bearing) Preorders Now

Nokia finally announced Nokia Lumia 1020 with a 41MP PureView camera . It will go on sale from AT&T beginning July 26, for $299.99 with a contract. It is currently available for preorder from AT&T.

It comes in three colors matte black, matte white(web only) and matte yellow. There are rumors that a red verison may be coming in the future from AT&T.  We call it camertastic because it has superior camera features including a Zeiss lens.

Nokia Lumia 1020 Name, Specs & Cameratastic

The super-41 megapixel Nokia Lumia 1020 has been seen in leaks photos and escaped photo information.

New leaked photos show the Nokia Lumia 1020 with a noticeable lens on the back in yellow, black and white.  Windows Phone Central reported that the Nokia Lumia 1020 will come with image stabilization, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage and an FM radio.

Meanwhile, Microsoft's, Jon Belfiore, posted photos to Flickr that showed they came from a Lumia 1020.

Nokia Lumia 928 PureView Camera, Release Date 5/16

After some ad leaks the Nokia Lumia 928 is now official,  with an exclusive release from Verizon Wireless on May 16. The Lumia 928 best-know features are its super powerful camera, wireless charging and touchscreen that can used with gloves, long nails or other implements.

This new Windows Phone features a PureView camera with image stabilization that helps prevent blurs, jump and other recording problems.  The 8.7MP camera that works in low light, has a wide-angle Carl Zeiss lens and Xenon flash.
