Moto Droid RAZR Thinnest LTE Droid, Best Competitor to Samsung Galaxy Nexus Prime 'til HTC Vigor?

Droid RAZRToday is a big announcement day for fast big Android smartphones.  Later tonightthere is supposed to be a Samsung Galaxy Nexus announcement and today in New York City, Sanjay Jha reveal the new Motorola RAZR with the highest specs from a Motorola Android smartphone so far. Preorders from Verizon Wireless start on October 27 for $299. The headline calls it "RAZR Sharp."

It will be one of the best competitor to the Samsung Galaxy Nexus Prime until the HTC Vigor comes out.  The most unique features of the Droid RAZR include wireless computer media streaming, specialized docks and that it is the thinnest 4G LTE smartphone thus far.

Nexus Prime Primed by Andy Rubin in Hong Kong 10/19?

While we searched  the halls of the San Diego Convention Center looking for a clue to find the next Samsung  Nexus Prime smartphone and Android 4.0 Ice Cream sandwich, Samsung  and Google primed the media to be ready  for AllThingdsDigitial Asia D Conference next week in Hong Kong.

The invite says "Calling All First-to-Knowers" and shows an Andy Android-shaped Ice Cream Sandwich.   Will they serve ice cream sandwichees and show the Samsung  Nexus Prime?  We will see next week on Wednesday October 19.

Samsung Stratsophere Release Date in Verizon Stratopshere 10/13?

Samsung StratosphereA leaked manual and promotional Verizon Wireless document revealed the capabilities of the Samsung Stratosphere expected to have an October 13 release date, next week.  It will be the first Verizon 4G LTE smartphone with a QWERTY keyboard.

The specs of the Samsung Stratosphere are closest to the Samsung Droid Charge with the addition of a slide-out landscape keyboard.

Nexus Droid Prime & Ice Cream Sandwich - Not Ready for Prime CTIA Time This Time

Samsung Google UnpackedThe quality smartphone enthusiasts are learning right now is patience, patience for waiting for the iPhone 5 and now the Samsung Nexus (Droid) Prime.  Samsung has cancelled the event scheduled at CTIA in San Diego next week.  This postponement has one blogger "pissed" and others frustrated.

Carriers and smartphone makers no longer give a release date until the very last minute. As smartphones get more exciting and advanced there can more problems and longer waits.  Let's see the HTC ThunderBolt was a few months late. The Droid Bionic was about nine months later than expected. The Samsung Galaxy S II in the United states was two months later than expected.  Now the Nexus Prime  aka the Droid Prime is not ready for prime time.
