4G LTE Map Los AngelesAlthough, Los Angeles is not officially mapped currently for LTE service, there are reports fast LTE data from Sprint customers in various parts of Los Angeles.  Sprint hinted at a total deployment date by March 2013.

According to Sprint forum members when they have CDMA/LTE selected in their settings they found LTE service in t parts of Los Angeles City and County. This is for patient may be helpful if you are trying to decide whether to buy an LTE device from Sprint in the Los Angeles area.  The most important thing to discover is coverage for where you live, work and spent much of your time.

4G LTE coverage has been discovered on the iPhone 5, Samsung Galaxy S III and Samsung Galaxy Note II.  We suspect there will be great discounts on Sprint LTE devices on Black Friday and beyond.

Sprint Viper 4G LTEThe day after Halloween, Sprint announced the Android 4.0 ICS update for the LG Viper.  Some users have reported that they not gotten the update yet due to slow servers and other glitches.  While Viper owners are getting notices that the update will be completely rolled out during the next two weeks.

The Sprint support community noted that, "Updates may be released in stages. When checking for the update, you may receive a message  that no update is available, check back later or wait until the update notification is sent to your device. "

Samsung Galaxy S IIISprint has sprinted to the update process for the Samsung Galaxy S III faster than any another other U.S. carrier and will start pushing out the update for Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean later today. This update will seem like it just drops into to Samsung Galaxy S III, however we'd like to remind to try not to drop your S3 on the ground or into the pool (see what happens).

Typically over-the-air (OTA) updates start slowly at first and then are sent out in bigger numbers over time, especially over the weekend.  When your Samsung is eligible for the update, it will download automatically.
