Samsung Galaxy S4 Updates AT&T, Sprint & Verizon

galaxyupdateThe Samsung Galaxy S 4  update, currently rolling out to Galaxy S 4 users over the Verizon, Sprint and AT&T networks. The 350MB+ update  allows use of the microSD to store apps (for Sprint and AT&T), fixes glitches and adds other enhancements.

Verizon Update PC/Mac Only

Verizon requires the Software Update Assistant (SUA)  that verifies whether your device has the most recent software. When a software update is available and your device is connected to a PC or Mac with a USB cable, the SUA provides an option to install the most recent device software.  Please make sure your battery is fully charged, and you are receiving a strong Verizon Wireless or Wi-Fi signal before beginning your software update. The Verizon changelog shows many glitch fixes.

Sprint Unlimited Guarantee & Shared Plans Start 2Day

Unlimited data for AT&T and Verizon are a thing of the past. Sprint claims that you'll never have to worry about losing unlimited data with their new unlimited My Way or My All-in plans that start today.  All plans are in flat numbers like Verizon did when it launched its Share Everything Plan.  Sprint is also offering discounts for multiple lines of service.

The plan called "Unlimited My Way" offers unlimited, talk, text and data for $80 dollars a month for a single user.  There are also ways a family can combine discounts and at unlimited data for $30 a month for smartphones and $10 for basic phones. There is a $20 a month for 1GB data option for smartphones or no data option.  Mobile hotspots are $10 a month for 1GB of data. See details in chart below.

BlackBerry Q10 Release Dates in June(Verizon T-Mobile) & Summer (Sprint)

The BlackBerry Q10 will coming form Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon this summer.

The QWERTY BlackBerry Q10 will be available in June from Verizon Wireless with preorders starting in the coming weeks.

Update 5/31/2013: The BlackBerry Q10 will go on sale at Verizon Wireless on June 6. T-Mobile is currently rumored to be around June 5.

T-Mobile will be offered the Q10 in June with business customers paying $119.99 with qualified plans while the T-Mobile price with two-years of $20 a month payment is $99.99.

Sprint only committed to selling the BlackBerry Q10 in the "late summer."

Sprint LTE Slow Mo' Due 2 Vendors & Shortages

If you were wondering why the LTE deployment at Sprint has been so s-l-o-w, Sprint explained why in papers filed at the SEC. There were shortages, problems with permits and the environment.

"During the second half of 2012, we experienced delays with vendor execution, backhaul connectivity delays, shortages in equipment such as fiber cable and antennas, as well as other regulatory and environmental issues," said Sprint.
