As the world waits for the Samsung Galaxy S 4 announcement in New York next week, Verizon Wireless  begin selling the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, today for $599.99 with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean with extremely fast LTE.

We were given demonstrations of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 at CES and our favorite feature is handwriting recognition using the S Pen. Artists will love Photoshop Touch.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 made an appearance at the Oscars, unfortunately it didn't win best dressed or even best actor because benchmark speeds showed it to be slower than other major tablets it competes against.  Samsung announced the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 global version that packs more power and may show the way for future large Samsung tablets. Last night during the Oscars, two tablet commercials aired within a few minutes of each other. The new Tim Burton "Unicorn Apocalypse" for the Samsung Gaalxy Note 10.1 and a new "Hollywood" iPad and iPad mini commercial.

Verizon announced at CES Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 will be available on the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE Mobile Broadband network in the coming weeks.  We were able to video demonstrations  of Photoshop Touch, Cascade View and Dual View.

The Galaxy Note 10.1 features Samsung Smart Remote AllShare Play, Pop up Play and Group Cast. For creative types the S Pen is embedded directly into a slot in the Galaxy Note 10.1, which activates a taskbar with quick access to optimized S Pen apps such as S Note, Adobe Photoshop Touch, Polaris Office and Kno.

The WiMobile arrived in Las Vegas for day two of CES and we were able to round up the top stories, today.

Crazy Eights -Samsung announced an eight core processor, the Samsung Exynos 5 Octa. The eight cores are divided into to two sets of four. The total two sets of cores are only used when needed. Mentioned by Samsung's Dr. Stephen Woo who said it would have double the performance for 3D graphics than its competitors.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 has been deployed in classrooms and now on music stands.  The sheet music for the Brussels Philharmonic orchestra has been replaced with Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet.

Samsung  gave each of the hundred musicians a Galaxy Note 10.1 with NeoScores software installed. Orchestra members can make their own notes  or highlight pasages with the S Pen. The Smart Stay feature keeps the screen lit while the musicians are looking at it.

The S Pen can also be used  change the sheet music and share it between members.
