The Samsung Galaxy S III continues to be in the news with updates, freebies, screen tests, developer models, synchronizing and free storage.
The Sprint version of the Samsung Galaxy S III is getting an update that fixes the Google Wallet glitch. The upgrade also removes the unified search from the Google Search bar. The search bar only returns web results after the update. Some contend that the service was removed to prevent blocking of sales from Apple patent infringement.
You can get the function back by sideloading the googlequicksearchbox.apk file, at your own risk. It reportedly works according to XDA Forum members.
