  • Long battery life.
  • Strong feel.
  • Beautiful pixel-peepers' loved display.
  • Clean almost pure Android OS.

Reviewers did not like:

  • The Droid RAZR HD ships with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich not Jelly Bean.
  • Pentile Super AMOLED display isn't as good as the iPhone 5, HTC One X or Atrix HD.
  • Lack of removable battery.

Some developers have resorted to "rooting" the Droid M and Motorola Photon Q.  However, rooting these devices could void your warranty if you are not careful.

Droid RAZR HDVerizon Wireless announced that the Droid RAZR HD will be released on October 18 and priced at $199 with a new contract. Motorola's antidote to the Samsung Galaxy S III.

The Droid RAZR HD is a larger thinner version of the Droid RAZR.  It has a 4.7" Super AMOLED HD touchscreen and 78% more pixels than the original Droid RAZR as well as 40% greater battery life. To use the HD it comes with viewdini to watch videos and movies.

It's closest competitor is the Samsung Galaxy S III. Features of the Droid RAZR HD include 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, global roaming, 8MP camera  front camera,  mobile hotspots, NFC/Android Beam, Gorilla Glass, Kevlar, water repellent coating, microSD slot, Wi-Fi  and Bluetooth.

Droid RAZR HDMotorola and Verizon Wireless announced the Droid RAZR HD that is taking smartphone screen size into the phabulous phablet realm of entertainment in time for the holidays. We figure a release in November, sometime.

Motorola claims that the Droid RAZR HD with the 4.7-inch HD display is the most compact smartphone in its class, designed for watching up to 10 hours of movies and TV shows or 6 hours of surfing the Web.  They also claim that you get the same clarity as  HDTV, and beats the iPhone 4S with 85 percent greater color saturation and 50 percent more pixels per inch.
