
Verizon Wireless will launch in several new 4G LTE markets tomorrow, making the grand total of LTE markets to be 143.
The good news for these markets is that Verizon Wireless have more smartphones, tablets, and modems that work with 4G LTE than any other carrier.
New markets include metros in Arkansas, Louisiana, Michigan, New Mexico, Tennessee and Texas as well as California, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Nevada, North Dakota and Ohio (see full list at end of article)
The latest additions of 4G-LTE capable devices on the 4G LTE network include the Droid Bionic a dual-core Android smartphone with the latest technology around as well as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 (read review). The Motorola Xoom tablet should be upgraded to 4G LTE any day now, it has been tested. The upgrade requires that the Xoom tablet be sent back to Motorola.
The price from Verizon Wireless for the Droid Bionic is $299. however new customers who trade in any kind of phone can get at least a $100 gift(more if the trade-in value is higher) with the online exclusive trade-in deal while current Verizon customers can only trade-in a basic phone for the $100 gift card.
Meanwhile, online retailer Amazon is selling the Droid Bionic for $179.99 for new customers with a contract or $249.99 for renewing customers.
Verizon Wireless is having a 3-day websale ending tomorrow with Certified-Previously-Owned (CPO) Motorola Xoom for $299 and other deals on CPO smartphones, with Samsung Droid Charge CPO going for $169.99.
