The update to Windows 7.8 is available for the Nokia Lumia 900, the phone that claimed that the smartphone beta test was over.
The update includes st 7.10.8862.144 software, an upgrade from the previous update that was halted.

T-Mobile will offer the Nokia Lumia 521 next month(May), a Windows Phone for budget-minded buyers.

Windows Phone Update 7.8 - Smartphone Beta Test Not Over
Whoops, the Windows Phone update to 7.8 has been halted due to a glitch reportedly with Live Tiles.
Microsoft has stopped the update until further notice to customers of Vodaphone. According to the Windows Phone update page, the update is not available in all markets or for all phones.

Those who joined the Windows Phone smartphone beta-test over movement will be happy to know that the Nokia Lumia 9p0 is expected to be updated the Windows 7.8 by the end of this week or later. Microsoft released the SDK for Windows phone 7.8 an optional update for developers.
The update is currently available servers and can be installed manually.

There were two major Windows Phone 8 announcements at CES, today. Verizon announced it will offer the Samsung ATIV Odyssey while Sprint confirmed that the company will offer two Windows Phone 8 smartphones one from HTC and one from HTC.
The Samsung ATIV Odyssey has a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 8MP camera, 4"Super AMOLED touchscreen, Live Tiles, 5MP Camera, built-in photo editing app, mini diary, 8GB storage, microSD card slot, Windows files, and Windows SkyDrive . Other features include 1GB of RAM, 2100mAh battery, global ready for traveling.

Nokia Lumia 822 & HTC 8X Release Date by Black/Red Friday
Verizon Wireless announced that by Thanksgiving in time for black Friday it will start offering two new Windows 8 Phones, the 8X by HTC and Nokia Lumia 822. Previously, the only Windows Phone on the Verizon network was the HTC Trophy.
Windows Phones are being marketed on the Verizon network, differently than Android phones. In its announcement, Verizon did not reveal the specs, processors or screen sizes of any of them. Instead, Verizon showed off the operating systems and colors.

Nokia Lumia 920 Review of Windows Phone News - Pure View Purview & Specs
Last week, Nokia and Microsoft announced the first Windows 8 smartphone including the Nokia Lumia 920. The media went gaga over the features for a cheap prices. However, in the latest commercial there was a flaw in the editing and actual Nokia Lumia 920 video footage was not used.
