LG is launching the “Touch Web” LG LH2300 phone in Korea with a large 3-inch touchscreen display with a high resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, good enough for viewing DVD quality video.
It also has, Bluetooth 2.0, microSD memory expansion, 3 megapixel camera with face recognition and anti-shake, secondary front-facing camera for video calls, jog wheel for fast scrolling, and the new “Hello” user interface.
The phone is expected to sell for $600. LG hopes that it will overtake iPhone sales in Korea.
