Bluepulse, the award-winning free mobile social messenger, today
announced a contest where users have the opportunity to win a $250 Apple
gift card. This referral program is timed to celebrate the new Bluepulse
iPhone App, which was unveiled three weeks ago. Bluepulse provides
mobile users with a messaging platform which allows them to broadcast
their lives and be in constant communication with friends and groups
through status updates, messages, photos and videos. Bluepulse's iPhone
App allows seamless contacts integration with the iPhone address book
and easy media uploads.
The rules of the contest are simple. To be entered into the drawing for
an Apple gift card, United States-based users must use Bluepulse to
invite their friends to use the service. For every five friends who sign
up and verify their phone number on Bluepulse, the inviter is entered
into the drawing once. At the end of each seven day period beginning
today, a winner will be selected out of a virtual hat. This contest will
go on for four weeks, resulting in four different Apple gift card
winners. There is a limit of one prize per user. In addition to these
winners, 10 additional users will be drawn each week to receive a
Bluepulse care package -- a collection of Bluepulse schwag.
"We are excited to kick off this contest and provide an incentive for
popular Bluepulse users," said Ben Keighran, founder and CEO of
Bluepulse. "The Bluepulse user base is growing tremendously in the US,
and we want to encourage users to get their friends on Bluepulse. This
contest is the perfect opportunity for winners to use the gift card to
get their hands on the new iPhone 3G and utilize our iPhone App to stay
in constant contact with their network of friends."
Bluepulse's contest further cements the company's commitment to helping
its users stay on the cutting edge of technology. Winners of the Apple
gift cards will be able to purchase any of Apple's innovative products,
including the new iPhone 3G.
