Samsung will be holding an event at CTIA in San Diego next week. The video shows a super-thin curved screen smartphone, suspected to be the Samsung Nexus Prime, aka Droid Prime or Droid HD.

Bloggers also suspect that event will focus on the new Samsung Windows Phone with Mango 7.5. The Samsung Focus has a 4" Super AMOLED touchscreen, very thin case and 1GHz processor.
The latest leak is that the Samsung Prime has shown up in an internal Verizon email as the Samsung Prime to replace the Samsung Droid Charge on October 27. There is another rumor that Verizon will release it on November 3.
Suspected specs of the Samsung Droid Prime include:
- The Nexus Prime will have a Super AMOLED touchscreen which may be as large as 4.5".
- It will be coming from Verizon Wireless.
- It most likely will use the 4G LTE network.
- 1.5GHz dual-core processor.
- We know for sure it will have Wi-Fi and Bluetooth becuase it has been certified.
Here's a summary of what has been reported to be included in the update to Ice Cream Sandwich:
- New blue theme.
- Camera has built in panorama mode.
- Redesigned notifications bar.
- Will launch with Google Shopper and NFC enabled.
- Gmail is redesigned.
- May have tray with multiple apps in it.
- Google search bar embedded on very top like in Honeycomb.
- Apps/Widgets launcher a lot like Honeycomb.
