Verizon Wireless announced today that its newest 4G LTE smartphone the Samsung Stratosphere with a QWERTY keyboard will be available on Thursday, October 13.
The specs of the Samsung Stratosphere are closest to the Samsung Droid Charge with the addition of a slide-out five-row landscape keyboard and business features.
The Samsung Stratosphere has a 4" Super AMOLED touchscreen, 5MP camera, front-facing camera, Android 2.3 Gingerbread, Touchwiz, 1GHz process, 4GB storage onboard, 4GB microSD installed, 4G LTE, DLNA, Media Hub, mobile hotspots, Bluetooth, GPS and Wi-Fi. The e Samsung Stratosphere has "enhanced enterprise features" including Cisco, Microsoft Exchange and Sybase Afari as well as VPN, encryption and EAS.
Dedicated keys on the keyboard include "new message", "browser" and "search" keys.
