AT&T has requested that the FCC withdraw its application to acquire T-Mobile for $39 Billion.
The FCC will report on what its staff has found to be its concerns over the deal. Meanwhile AT&T is focusing on the upcoming trial with the Justice Department.
AT&T is still trying to push its merger plans. If it wins its battle with the justice department, it could reapply to the FCC for approval.
If AT&T doesn't succeed it will have to pay T-Mobile $4 Billion.
