Vine Pulled from Featured iPhone App for Features Rooted in Content?

Vine AppVine is  a new Twitter and iPhone app that lets users share six second videos and post it to Twitter. It looks the Vine is growing like crazy but has some weeds it has to pull out. When you get six seconds to do video, what do you do?  Some do porn and that could be problem.

Vine the video sharing app launched Thursday in the App Store it was a "Featured" selection and then went to the top of the social app section, making it to number four free app overall.

However this morning, Vine users found in the Editor's pick section a hardcore mini video "DildoPlay" Since that play, the App Store has removed Vine from the "featured" section where most apps stay for about a week.

The App Store has a strict no porn policy.

Then it was reported that the Vine is filtering out porn by blocking certain search terms.  Previously searing the hashtag #porn within the app brought up some pretty racy results.

A Twitter spokesperson said "A human error resulted in a video with adult content becoming one of the videos in Editor’s Picks, and upon realizing this mistake we removed the video immediately. We apologize to our users for the error."

One reviewer noted "Please note that Vine videos are not moderated and some may be Not Safe For Work. Of course, this is also true of tweeted images"
