It seems like everywhere you look today, there's news about the Samsung Galaxy S 4, where to buy it, why to buy it, breaking news (literally) and the way to launch it in style or in parody.
Samsung Galaxy S 4 in Some Stores
The Samsung Galaxy S 4 is now on sale at T-Mobile online on a first come, first server basis with the warning that "quantities are expected to be limited." The SG S4 is not expected in T-Mobile select stores until May 8 and all stores, May 15.
Sprint issued a statement, today, that the Samsung Galaxy is available through sales channels including stores and online with expected new shipments, received daily.
AT&T began selling it on Saturday while Verizon won't sell S4 in-stores until May 30. A recent study suggestes that there will be a strong demand for the Galaxy S 4.
Bigger Screen S4 Harder to Grip and Easier to Break, More Water Resistant
SquareTrade ran the Samsung Galaxy S 4 through its tests to find that it is slightly more water resistant than the S3 but was more likely to break when dropped and easy to lose a grip. The company added the sliding feature. The S4 was cracked and dented when it hit the pavement while the iPhone 5 survived with a couple of scratches. When dipped in water iPhone 5, S3 and S4 all sruvived. The S3 lost sound and the S4 worked fine after a dip in a tub water. The drops are now accomplished by a machine rather than a person to be more precise.
Meanwhile, someone YouTube shot the S4 with a .50 caliber rifle. The S4 like a human hit with that much force, does not survive, however the video channel makes more ad revenue then gun control videos.
Eye Scrolling Makes Eyes Roll
In the Seattle Times, columnist Brier Dudley reported called the Samsung Galaxy S4 a remarkable phone, but noted that eye pausing worked some times while eye scrolling was hit and miss. "I found myself jerking my head around and rolling my eyes up and down as far as they’d go, trying to trigger the scroll." People on the bus left him a lot of space.
Most Reviews Reviewed Meh
The first round of reviews for the Samsung Galaxy S4 in major press were good but called mainly a software upgrade filled with gimmicks. Those who expect to buy the Samsung Galaxy however are growing rapidly.
