AT&T has started a new promotion that equals at least $100 off a new smartphone including the Samsung Galaxy S4, HTC one and BlackBerry Z10 each of which that sell for $199.99.
If you buy a $99.99 smartphone, you can get it for free. In order to get the offer you have to turn in a smartphone that is no more than three years old and in good, working condition. Some trade-in smartphones may bring in more money. You have to have the model number, IMEI/ESN/Serial #: and phone number to get an estimate.
In AT&T company-owned retail stores, AT&T’s Trade-In Program lets customers turn in old wireless phones and receive an AT&T promotional card reflective of the device’s trade-in value and condition.
Currently the top contenders at AT&T are the HTC One, Samsung Galaxy S 4 and Blackerry Z10.
Some may chose to wait later for the Samsung Galaxy S 4. We have noticed extremely fast LTE speed when you get a faster processor and will test new models shortly.
If you have energy it is a good idea to check what your old smartphone is priced at on eBay. We checked on a two-year-old model and found that it was selling for around $120 or close to $200 with accessories. If you have the time and accessories, you may get more for a smartphone if you sell it yourself.
