Kindle Beats Potter in Sales, Samsung Galaxy S Captivate, Droid Incredible & Droid X Top Amazon Sales

The third-generation Kindle is now the best-selling
product in Amazon's history, eclipsing "Harry Potter and the Deathly
Hallows" (Book 7), reported Amazon.  There were many mobile shoppers - those who shopped via their BlackBerry, iPad or Android smartphone and those who bought mobile phones.  Amazon Wireless best sellers were all Android and Droid smartphones.

Amazon.com's Hot Holiday Bestsellers

  • Kindle (Wi-Fi) and Kindle 3G were the best-selling products on
    Amazon.com this holiday season.
  • During the holiday season, the biggest mobile shopping day for iPad,
    iPhone and Android users was Sunday; however, the biggest mobile
    shopping day for BlackBerry users was Friday.

Amazon.com's Hot Holiday Bestsellers in Wireless are very familiar to readers of Wireless and Mobile News' Top Best Coolest Smartphones Review of Reviews (RoR):

The company also announced that on its peak day, Nov. 29, customers ordered more than 13.7 million items worldwide across all product categories, which is a record-breaking 158 items per second.

On Christmas Day more people turned on new Kindles for the first
time, downloaded more Kindle Buy Once, Read Everywhere apps, and
purchased more Kindle books than on any other day in history.
