The HTC Vigor has been rumored to be more powerful than the Droid Bionic, with greater battery life than the HTC ThunderBolt and with faster 4G LTE speeds. We now know for sure that the HTC Vigor will have 4G LTE access becasue the spectrum is shown in the FCC filings to support Verizon's 4G LTE network as well as CDMA, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The HTC Vigor will not be a global world phone.
When we mapped out on a calendar the length of time between FCC filings and release dates it usually about a month or more which could support an October 6 release date. There is also an invite-only event on September 20 from HTC which may be a big announcement from HTC for the HTC Vigor, HTC Bliss, HTC Holiday, or the HTC Amaze.
A leaked photo showed the HTC Vigor with a curved indented back with a red-eyed camera. The HTC Vigor is the supposed be the successor to the HTC ThunderBolt with a reported October 6 release date. Some think that the HTC Vigor may eventually be named the HTC Droid HD. The HTC Vigor is also suspected to be the first Beats audio-enhanced smartphone from HTC.
Recently, HTC tweeted about our HTC EVO 3D, HTC Sensation 4G and myTouch 4G Slide battery-life-saving article which made it one of the most-read articles for that week. The 4G LTE network access draws a lot ob battery juice and hopefull the HTC Vigor will have better battery life.
Suspected specs of the HTC Vigor include HTC Sense 3.5, 4.3" HD touchscreen, HTC Sense 3.5, 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, Android 2.3.4, 8MP camera, , 1GB of RAM, 16GB of onboard storage, a front-facing camera, and DRE Beats audio enhancement technology.
